This policy explains what information Selling My Business Guide (sellingmybusinessguide.com, "we", "us") collects when you use the site.

We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't use advertising cookies or sell personal information. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to send through our signup form.

Like most websites, the site is delivered through service providers that process basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver and secure the site:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it against abuse.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and general traffic sources so we know which guides are useful. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't collect personal information.

Links to other sites

Our guides link to the public sources they cite, such as the IRS, the SBA and BizBuySell. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we don't control.

Signup form

If you use the signup form, we store your email address, any message you include, the page you sent it from and the time. We use them to email you when we publish new guides and to reply to your question or correction. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by replying to any of them. We don't sell or share your details with brokers, buyers or advertisers.

Changes

If we add features that collect more information, we will update this policy before they go live and change the date above.
